BPMA TPM Graduates

Among the industry professionals recently completing a BPMA education course is Harry Walbaum, operations manager at drinkware specialist First Editions.

His colleague at the company, Sarah Logan also successfully completed the TPM, which is

aimed at more experienced promotions executives with more than three years in the sector.

Q Can you tell us a bit about your career so far?

A I joined First Editions in 2019 and spent three years as production manager before being promoted to my current role.

Q Which BPMA course did you study?

A I completed the CPM course, as did my customer services colleague Sarah Logan. The course gave me lots of helpful insights into my role at First Editions, thanks to its use of practical, industry-specific examples.

Q Did you find it a challenge to fit in your studies around work?

A The BPMA programme is extremely flexible. Because you have access to the online portal 24/7, it’s not difficult to build study time around your work schedule.

Q What advice do you have for other potential students?

A You need to be honest with yourself about gaps in your knowledge and skills. That way, you can be sure that you’re building on existing abilities to benefit both yourself and your company.

Q What about life outside work?

A I am a qualified rugby referee operating within the RFU’s PGMOT group which sees me officiate in Premiership and Championship matches.

  • The TPM has four course intakes with the next being October 2024. Start the course in and achieve your TPM certificate within 6 months. Find more details at bpma.co.uk.
